CATS 2007 Golf Tournament

A Great Success!

Carroll Area Transit System’s (CATS) 24^th Annual Golf Tournament was held on Friday, July 20^th, at Oakmont Green Golf Club.  Through the caring support of sponsors and individuals, the proceeds of over $12,000, a 21% increase over last year, will help CATS meet the crucial growing transportation needs of Carroll County residents. 

Congratulations go out to tournament winners: Carroll Occupational Health - 1^st Place, Bruce Miller’s Team – 2^nd Place, and The Braun Corporation – 3^rd Place.

CATS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that meets the critical needs of  Carroll County individuals that do not have the means to afford or secure transportation; allowing people to remain independent and to get to the basic necessities and services that they need.  While a large percentage of CATS’ riders are seniors and people with special needs, any Carroll County resident can ride with CATS.  For more information about CATS’ services, call 410-857-0080.
