Transit Fees

 ALL FARES must be paid at the time of boarding the vehicle. The exact fare is required. Only cash or Carroll Area Transit System tickets will be accepted by the drivers.

GENERAL PUBLIC:
Zone Fares: $2.00
Each Additional Zone: $2.00

Each Zone begins at your pickup site and is up to 5 miles.

SENIOR CITIZENS:
To and from senior centers for normal program hours: $1.00

$1 fares are for senior riders delivered to senior center by 9 a.m. and picked up after the normal program ending at 2 p.m.
General transportation outside of normal program is $2.00 per zone (5 miles).

Reduced fares are available for Senior Citizens (60 years of age and older) at the Carroll County Bureau of Aging 410-386-3800.

Tickets may also be purchased though the mail at $10.00 per book of ten.
