Routes & Schedules
Carroll Area Transit System provides four Deviated Fixed Route Carroll Transit Shuttles (buses with specific stops as designated times that can go off fixed routes for deviation). They are the Taneytown Shuttle, Westminster to Eldersburg Shuttle, South Carroll Shuttle and the Westminster Shuttle.

There is an additional $1.00 charge for route deviations. Shuttles can deviated within a 3/4 mile corridor of the regular route to stop closer to your origin or destination. To request a route deviation, call CATS one (1) business day in advance at one of the numbers listed on this website.
Please note: Packages shall be limited to only those which can be secured, do not block aisles or exits, and do not take up seats needed for other passengers.
